Farewell Lunch

The Delaware State News Classified/Reader Services team had a going away lunch for Vicki Brown on Friday complete with a Taco Bar.

Vicki’s last day will be Sept. 1 then she will be relocating to Virginia Beach.

A BIG thank you to Yvonne Kirksey for the delicious tacos and cupcakes, great job as always. 

Vicki was presented with a card and a gift basket of all her favorite candies.

The Classified/Reader Service team will definitely miss you but we wish you all the best in the next chapter of your life.

We would also like to take this time to Welcome Teresa Riccardi who now sits in Vicki’s seat.  Welcome to  INI and to our  team!!!!!  We all look forward to working with you!

 

Awesome Experience For News Editor Rusty Bradshaw

Arizona West Valley News Editor Rusty Bradshaw had a surprise meeting with a former NFL great.

While he and his girlfriend, Jeanne, were entering Vee Quiva Resort and Casino in Phoenix, they encountered former Chicago Bears player and Head coach Mike Ditka. Rusty and Da Coach had a brief chat about Rusty’s favorites, the Seahawks, beating the Bears just days before in a preseason game.

“I’m a big football fan, so getting to meet Coach Ditka was pretty awesome,” Rusty said.

 

West Valley Sponsors Regional Chamber Breakfast

INI’s Arizona West Valley office sponsored the September Surprise Regional Chamber of Commerce breakfast with a law enforcement theme. Representatives from the Surprise and El Mirage police departments reviewed crime stopping tips with a full house of business professionals at the monthly networking event.

West Valley Publisher Charlene Bisson introduced the breakfast speakers.

West Valley account reps Greg Garcia and Frank Dias shared information about Independent’s West Valley publications.
