The
Delaware State News marketing team was thrilled to host their 2022 Thrive -
Senior Life after 55 event last week with a day full of vendors,
demonstrations, door prizes, giveaways and more. The event hosted 25 vendors
and approximately 400 attendees (up 30% from last year). Attendees had a chance
to learn new dance steps, sample crepes for a local award-winning French
bakery, learn the secrets for creating long-lasting flower arrangements and
more. All the vendors, event partner Noble's Pond and sponsor Bayhealth agreed
that the day was a great success. “This is always a fantastic event which
showcases both our businesses that serve the 55+ community,” said Konrad
LaPrade vice president of sales and marketing for Delmarva. In addition to
event manager Jessica Cook and marketing director Heather Cregar, the day-of
event details were managed by the sales and marketing team including Pat Abel,
Joy Ferrio, Tim Gary, Tom Maglio, Tonda Parks, Marty Valania and Laura Walter.
