These teams combined their efforts to take home the second place award in the “Special Section, Vendor Supported” category for daily newspapers under 35,000 circulation. They shared this prize with the Delaware State News layout and news teams for the “Fields of Dreams” special section on the Kent County (Del) Sports Complex. In addition, Graphic Artist Cyndy Paquette and Promotions Manager Heather Cregar received a second place award in the “Use of Humor” category for daily newspapers under 35,000 circulation. This was for the “eye-catching” testimonial ad featuring an eye-popping photo of Dover business owner Gary Knox.Everyone was pleased to receive a “congratulations” from not only President Ed Dulin, but also a special note from our founder Jack Smyth (see photo).
