The Banner’s Editor Logan B. Anderson received this note from a Dorchester Center for the Arts board member. The Banner created an expanded Arts & Leisure section in the Sept. 23 edition to help advance the center’s Showcase Event held on Sept. 25.

I wanted to drop you a note to thank-you for the editorial support for the Art Center. As a board member and past president I know how difficult it has been to get recognition through out the community. Our existence and what we are about is still a hidden jewel,but with exposure as you have done ,we are getting there.
