Getting Help When You Need It

Mike Whaley, distribution manager for the Delmarva weeklies, has had his hands full recently.

He has been occupied with restructuring delivery and distribution for the Maryland weeklies, while keeping an eye on the Delaware weeklies.

When a route for the Milford Chronicle went down unexpectedly, Mike knew he would never be able to cover for the missing carrier without additional help. But even before he could ask, Don Clendaniel, the distribution manager for the State News, stepped up and volunteered. Don and DSN team members, Zed Postles and Dave Melvin, worked together with Mike to deliver the papers without undue delay. Mike reported seeing smiles on many faces as the Chronicle was tossed into driveways along the route.

It’s been said before, but bears repeating, one of the greatest benefits to working for INI is the everyday opportunity to be associated with dedicated people, committed to doing a job right, even when it doesn’t fall under their job description.

Hats off to Don, Zed, Dave and Mike!
